The Linkizee Story: Since 2011
How a static HTML file from 2011 became my ultimate daily web desktop.
From a USB Drive to the Cloud
Back in 2011, Linkizee started as a single, static HTML file carried around on a USB flash drive between home and school. To add a new link, I had to manually edit the HTML code. But the goal was always the same: to have a personal, visual desktop for the web.
Over more than a decade of daily personal use, that crude HTML file evolved. Today, Linkizee is a modern, cloud-based SaaS app that syncs across all your devices — retaining that same intuitive, familiar desktop feel, but without the USB sticks or code editing.
